About You

We are looking for an engaged and driven specialist in general medicine or a licensed physician wishing to pursue a residency in general medicine, ready to join our dynamic team at Stensö Health Center. You are independent in your work and enjoy taking responsibility, while also being flexible and able to adapt to different situations and patient needs. We value collaboration within our team, so good teamwork skills are extremely important for creating a positive work environment.

Your Future Workplace

Stensö Health Center is a modern and pleasant health center located near the hospital. We have employees with diverse backgrounds and broad expertise. We strive to offer our listed patients good continuity and have a well-established listing with named physicians. Our workgroup consists of 30 employees, including seven specialist physicians. We want to be a family-oriented health center with a reliable staff that values the meeting with the patient, offering a service of high medical quality and high patient safety. We continuously work to develop and implement new methods aimed at improving our operations, every day a little better.

We have over 8000 listed patients. Stensö Health Center is geographically close to the hospital and adjacent to nature and recreational areas. We provide health care within the specialty of general medicine and work health-promoting according to the guidelines for Health Choice Kalmar County. There are several nurse-led clinics; e.g., diabetes, blood pressure, lifestyle clinic, asthma/COPD, dementia, urinary incontinence. We also work with rehabilitation during sick leave. In addition to physicians, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries, primary care psychologists are also part of the team.
