Anesthesia Nurse to the Operating Unit

As an anesthesia nurse in the operating unit, you are an important part of our team.

We work with elective activities in surgery/urology, endoscopy, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, and partially in medicine and dentistry. In the unit, we operate on patients Monday to Friday. The anesthesia nurses have an acute assignment that extends from Monday to Sunday and work days, evenings, and nights.

We are constantly working to develop and improve our operations and are now looking for you who want to join us in this work.

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist training in anesthesia care. We want you to have a positive attitude and focus on the patient's best interests, just like us. Important personal qualities that we value are the ability to work independently, be flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The operating clinic includes day surgery, endoscopy, and sterile technical unit. We have five operating rooms and three endoscopy rooms. Oskarshamn Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County and has just over 400 employees. The hospital is a small hospital with fast decision-making paths and close contacts between the units. Here, there is medical specialist care, radiology, planned surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is located near the center of Oskarshamn and close to the archipelago.
