Personnel Administrator for 31st Air Base Battalion

We are growing and strengthening our team with a personnel administrator. As a personnel administrator at the 31st Air Base Battalion, you will work at the largest unit of the Helicopter Wing and play an important role in Sweden's defense. As a personnel administrator, you will work in the personnel section (S1) of the battalion staff, which consists of a personnel officer and personnel administrators.

31st Air Base Battalion

The 31st Air Base Battalion consists of four companies and a battalion command with an associated battalion staff. The four companies include a Headquarters/Logistics Company, Protection Airfield Company, Air Base Security Company, and Basic Training Company. The battalion's main task is the operation of the Malmen air base, the operation of a mobile air base, and the basic training of conscripts.

Main Responsibilities

As a personnel administrator, you will solve administrative tasks within large parts of the personnel area. You will be part of a team that handles the battalion's personnel matters and provides direct support to the commanders at the 31st Air Base Battalion. The position means that you will work broadly and be involved in several areas, which offers great opportunities to deepen and broaden your knowledge in various fields.

Your tasks will include:

• Preparing/compiling documentation and cases
• Personnel administration
• Administrative support to commanders
• Training and student administration
• Recruitment administration

As a personnel administrator, you will also participate in the battalion's training series. During exercises, your tasks will include planning work, exercise mobilization, and follow-up on the personnel situation in the battalion.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Swedish citizenship
• Experience in personnel administrative work within government or public sector
• Good user of the Office suite.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• Driver's license B

DESIRABLE

• Bachelor's degree in HR
• Previous service in the Armed Forces.
• Experience with the Armed Forces' operational management system SAP/PRIO
• Military basic training and/or service as GSS

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, unpretentious, and has a good ability to organize and prioritize their own work. You should have good collaboration skills, be meticulous, and service-oriented as the work largely consists of supporting commanders. Enjoying varied tasks and sometimes a fast pace is a prerequisite for thriving with us.
