About home care in Sorsele municipality:

The home care service in Sorsele is divided into four workgroups in different areas of the municipality. In Sorsele, there are two workgroups, one in Ammarnäs, and one in Gargnäs. These services are based in Sorsele, but work in other groups may occur as needed.

In home care, we work closely with our health and medical staff – nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists – to ensure that our elderly receive the right medical interventions, rehabilitation, and support in their daily lives. We also have a close collaboration with case managers, who investigate and decide on interventions according to the Social Services Act.

About the position:

As a nursing assistant in home care, you work closely with our clients in their homes. You provide support in daily life, perform care tasks, and create a meaningful existence. The work is varied and involves both independent tasks and collaboration with colleagues. The work occurs during days, evenings, and weekends, providing a flexible and varied workday.

Your tasks

• Personal care and support in daily activities
• Health-promoting interventions and medication management according to delegation
• Documentation in the operational system
• Collaboration with relatives and other care staff

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant or has equivalent experience
• Has a genuine interest in people and a warm demeanor
• Is flexible, responsible, and enjoys working both independently and in a team
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driving license B is an advantage

Duration/working hours:

Start date: By agreement.

Salary: The municipality applies individual salary setting.
