ASSA ABLOY INDUSTRIAL (BSI) is a leading supplier of automatic industrial doors and docking systems. They are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Gothenburg area, a role for you who wants to combine technology, service, and customer dialogue in your daily work.

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician at ASSA ABLOY INDUSTRIAL, you will work with preventive maintenance and servicing of the company's products at customer sites. Your focus is to ensure that the systems function as they should through ongoing checks, simple adjustments, and replacement of wear and spare parts. The role involves a lot of customer contact, where clear communication and a pedagogical approach are important.

You will have a great deal of responsibility in your work and will plan and book your customer visits in close collaboration with a planner. Much of the work is performed independently, and you are responsible for delivering according to set goals. After each assignment, you document your work in the company's reporting system by writing service reports.

This is a direct recruitment, which means that we at StudentConsulting handle the recruitment process and that you will be employed directly by ASSA ABLOY INDUSTRIAL. The position is full-time, and working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00. The work is performed in Gothenburg and surrounding areas, and occasional overnight stays may occur. During the first year, there will be a strong focus on training, which may involve overnight stays in hotels.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant high school education, for example in electrical, automotive, or technology
• Basic knowledge of electricity and the ability to read wiring diagrams
• An interest in mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics
• Experience in practical work and mechanical tasks
• Holds a valid driver's license (B)
• Has good Swedish skills in both spoken and written form
