About the position.

In the role of Automation Technician, you are an important part of our Automation team that programs PLC programs for our customer projects. You are involved from project startup to handing over the facility to the customer. You work in a team with mechanical designers and electrical designers where you are responsible for programming and commissioning. We use Siemens PLC and program in TIA Portal. When the furnace system is ready for testing, you will be the one performing I/O checks in the workshop and responsible for testing all functions. You will also travel to the customer and perform commissioning on-site.

The role includes the following tasks:

• PLC programming

• HMI programming

• Testing and commissioning in the workshop and at the customer’s site

• Training during commissioning (at the customer’s site and/or digitally)

• Preparation of technical documentation for control systems

• Technical support for control systems

Requirements:

• Experience with Siemens programming in TIA Portal

• Basic electrical knowledge

• The ability to communicate in Swedish without problems

Meritorious:

• Experience in electrical assembly

• Experience in testing and self-inspection

• Experience in commissioning
