As a Property Caretaker, you ensure that our properties function as they should, that our tenants are happy, and that small problems do not grow into large ones. No two days are alike, but you are always close to those we serve – our tenants.

🛠️ What does a Property Caretaker do for us?

• Daily contact with tenants
• Repairs, as well as ongoing supervision and maintenance of your properties and common areas
• Ensures our properties are in good condition
• Manages move-ins and move-outs through apartment inspections (zeroing), viewings, and introductions
• Maintenance and cleaning of the external environment in your areas. This includes, among other things, waste management, care of flower beds and green areas, and snow clearing
• Supervision of summer youth workers and interns
• Keeps an eye on the big picture – both technical aspects and tenant well-being

💡 Who are you?

We believe you are a handy, solution-focused person who likes to take responsibility and help others. You are social without being intrusive, and you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

You need:

• Experience from similar work (property maintenance, technical skills, service, etc.)
• A valid driver's license (Category B) (a must, as we sometimes need to move around quickly!)
• Ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing (knowledge of additional languages is appreciated)

Uddevallahem is a non-profit housing foundation operating in Uddevalla Municipality and currently has approximately 90 employees. With 4,736 apartments, we are the largest player in the housing market in Uddevalla. Over 9,000 people, or roughly one in six residents of Uddevalla, live with us. As the leading housing company in the municipality, we help develop Uddevalla. Our business idea is to offer sustainable housing by managing, building, and developing properties in the municipality.
