Do you want to work with service, maintenance, and modifications of trailers in an environment where no two days are alike? Then this could be the role for you! We are looking for both junior and experienced mechanics.

Job Description

eLinked AB is now looking for trailer mechanics for our client in Gothenburg.

You will work with servicing, repairing, and preparing truck trailers for new customer assignments.

This is a long-term position where you will be employed by eLinked AB and hired out to our client for six months.

Afterwards, there is an opportunity to transition to a permanent position with the client company.

The need is continuous and long-term, with stable demand for many years to come.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of trailers and their components
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical problems
• Replacement and repair of brakes, wheels, axles, and other wear parts
• Assembly of steel components and simple welding tasks
• Replacement and assembly of canvas/tents on trailers for new customer branding
• Preparation of trailers for delivery – ensuring they are intact, safe, and presentable

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a trailer mechanic or mechanic in heavy vehicles
• Alternatively has experience in:
  • Brake replacement
  • Steel assembly and simple welding
  • Car or trailer electronics (wiring, troubleshooting, assembly)
  • Tire technician
• Is responsible, detail-oriented, and enjoys practical work
• Has a B-driver's license
• Fluent in Swedish or English

Education as a vehicle mechanic is meritorious, but the right experience and willingness to learn are equally important.
