Service Technician for Family-Owned Company in Askim

We are now looking for a Service Technician with experience from industrial service work and a genuine interest in technical equipment.

Svetsteknik is a welding house operating primarily in Western Sweden, with a workshop and office in Askim. We provide welding machines and equipment to a large number of customers in the region. Today, we are 10 employees.

At Svetsteknik, you will perform service and warranty work on the market's leading manufacturers of welding equipment, both in our workshop and on-site at our customers. We also perform calibrations and inspections of welding equipment on behalf of our customers. You will also be part of the operations surrounding our rental depot, which consists of machines and equipment for rental to the industry.

You will become part of a family-owned company with 80 years of experience in the Swedish welding industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Service and repairs of machines and ancillary equipment, primarily within welding.
• Assembly of welding machines.
• Performing calibrations and service on-site at customer locations.
• Handling outgoing and incoming machines in our rental fleet.
• Providing technical advice to our sales team and customers.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in sales, technology, and service.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in industrial maintenance work.
• Have an interest in electronics and technical equipment.
• Are social, communicative, and service-oriented.
• Are self-motivated and take responsibility for your work.
• Have a structured approach to work and good teamwork skills.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Hold a valid B-driver's license.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience in industrial welding.
• Experience in repairing welding equipment.
