Ground Workshop Skövde is a department with approximately 200 employees within the Ground Workshop at the Army Staff unit. We primarily perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment, but also for the air force and navy, and contribute with technical system support. This means maintenance in the form of supervision, renovation repair, manufacturing, disassembly, modification, and repair technical analyses.

You will belong to our Garrison Warehouse and work together with 14 other employees and be part of a team that works together and supports each other. Everyone is equally important, and the work environment encourages collaboration where one supports and shares knowledge with each other.

Main tasks

In the role of spare parts specialist, you work with spare parts preparation, assurance, and quality assurance of documentation for spare parts orders, as well as deciding whether spare parts should be procured via an internal or external party. You are to initiate, monitor, and close customer orders in our support systems. The work also includes searching for and ordering material, goods handling, and other warehouse management, as well as warehouse care and customer reception. Various other work with the Swedish Armed Forces' material and material systems may occur.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• You have at least a two- or three-year upper secondary education with a technical/logistical orientation or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Current experience of working with warehouses and spare parts
• Good computer skills
• Class B driver's license

Since the work largely involves working with both internal and external customers, it is important that you are service-oriented and flexible regarding others' wishes and needs. MERITORIOUS

• Forklift license A+B
• Experience working with forklifts
