Eltel is now seeking a highly experienced designer for its team in Bromma, with deep expertise in the design of large-scale fiber and low-voltage networks in complex environments.

At Eltel, you will work on large, critical infrastructure projects with many stakeholders and a fast pace, alongside experienced colleagues and specialists. The role suits you if you are used to working in national networks with high demands on structure, quality, and coordination – and who takes clear ownership in the implementation phase of projects.

As a senior designer, you will work with design, detailed planning, and coordination of larger fiber and low-voltage projects, often in densely populated environments and with several parallel actors. You are responsible for ensuring that the projects are technically correct, feasible, and well-coordinated – from planning to finished production documentation. The role involves significant personal responsibility and close collaboration with clients, network owners, authorities, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design and detailed planning of fiber, ducting, and low-voltage networks in complex utility environments
• Utility coordination in projects with multiple network owners and existing infrastructure
• Preparation of work instructions, checklists, and production documentation
• Material orders and planning and booking of resources
• Preparation of documentation for traffic management plans, permits, and land agreements
• Contacts with landowners, municipalities, authorities, and subcontractors
• Planning and coordination of interruptions, relocations, and joint construction projects
• Active participation in kick-off meetings and ongoing quality assurance throughout the implementation phase of projects

Scope: Full-time, start date by agreement

Location: Bromma
Working hours: Weekdays 07:30–16:00, some flexibility and 48 ATK hours/year

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Several years of documented experience in large utility projects within fiber and/or low voltage
• Experience working with a comprehensive national fiber and telecommunications network with high demands on structure, documentation, and process
• Very good understanding of fiber ownership, fiber structure, and complex network logic
• Used to working in and driving projects in execution/production phases
• Solid experience in utility coordination in dense and complex infrastructure
• Valid driver's license (B)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Confident in your professional role, self-driven, structured, and accustomed to taking responsibility in complex project environments

Meritorious
• Experience in local network design within electrical networks
• Background as a fiber technician or technician in contracting operations
• Experience working in larger organizations with established processes and quality requirements
