Property Manager at Tornberget

About the Position

You will be part of our property department along with 25 colleagues working as property managers, assistant managers, property technicians, customer service representatives, and management coordinators.

The work is led by a property manager together with an assistant property manager and a unit manager.

As a property manager at Tornberget, you will have a key role and will collaborate closely with other departments and competencies within Tornberget, such as finance, projects, technical installations, property operations, etc. You will also participate in the company's development work and share your experiences and knowledge.

In the department, we work in teams, where the property manager is the team leader. As a team leader, you have a supervisory role and lead the daily work for the team consisting of you, an assistant manager, and a property technician.

Your Responsibilities

• The business responsibility for assigned properties
• Supervisory responsibility for your team and overall responsibility for the team's assignments
• Maintenance planning and tenant contacts
• Implementation of smaller maintenance projects
• Investments
• Some leasing
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Framework agreements
• Property owner responsibility
• Budget responsibility

About You

This position is suitable for you who have good collaboration and initiative skills and a high degree of service mindset. You are good at building relationships and planning and executing work together in collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and tenants. Your Qualifications

• Suitable education for this position is a bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on construction and/or work experience in property management and/or construction project management.
• You are used to working digitally and are an experienced IT user
• You have at least a B driver's license
• You speak and write Swedish fluently
• It is an advantage if you have experience in a supervisory role
• It is an advantage if you have experience working in municipal operations or other politically governed organizations
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge of LOU.

Tornberget is a municipal property management company in Haninge. We own and manage municipal operational properties such as schools, preschools, youth centers, libraries, and elderly care facilities. We own approximately 300,000 m² in total.
