Project Manager in Industry and Defense

At Combitech in Stockholm, we are looking for a project manager for assignments in industry and defense with expertise in areas such as design, production, and testing. We see a continued need among our customers in these areas, and therefore we look forward to strengthening our team with additional colleagues in project management. Your Role as a Project Manager in Mechanics

As a project manager, you are responsible for driving the projects or assignments you work on and ensuring that the established requirements for quality, time, and cost are met. The assignments span a wide range, both in terms of complexity and size. Typical assignments may include the industrialization of product concepts, technical development projects, or coordinated testing activities. You will be part of a team with varying experience in mechanical development and project management.

Most of the time, you will be working at the client's site, but for some assignments, there may be an opportunity to work at Combitech's office in Alvik.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering degree and at least 5 years of documented experience as a technical project manager. It is advantageous if you have experience in production technology, assembly, or design. It is desirable that you have knowledge of one or more established project management models.

To succeed as a project manager, you should have a strong interest in leading and coordinating people. It is important that you have the ability to independently prioritize and drive issues forward in your daily work, as well as a good ability to communicate with different people in the technical field.

You are used to working in a structured and communicative manner with your project group. You also thrive in a dynamic environment where you may handle several parallel projects while being attentive and humble towards the client's needs. Building good relationships and seeking information and new contacts within an organization is a natural part of the role of a project manager.

Since the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
