As a Kitchen Assistant at Leksand Sommarland and Leksand Resort, you will become an important part of the kitchen team that ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will work closely with our chefs and assist with preparations, simple cooking, and keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for the day's guests. The pace can be high, but together with your team, you create order, joy at work, and great dining experiences for thousands of visitors every day.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the chefs in the kitchen with preparations and simple cooking

• Prepare ingredients, arrange salads, and replenish buffets

• Keep kitchen surfaces clean, organized, and hygienic

• Support the kitchen and restaurant with clearing, dishwashing, and other tasks as needed

• Follow procedures for food hygiene and safety

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys an active job with a high pace where you can pitch in and help where needed. You are meticulous, efficient, and easily follow routines, especially regarding hygiene and food handling. You enjoy collaborating with chefs and colleagues but are also comfortable working independently when required. Since the position involves close cooperation with the kitchen and service as well as some guest contact, you need to speak fluent Swedish and/or English.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Working hours vary according to the restaurant's opening hours, so there will be work during the day, evenings, and weekends. The employment is a seasonal position of 50-100%, and the summer season runs from June to August. Salary and other conditions according to the collective agreement with Vista-HRF Gröna riksavtalet.

The amusement park Leksand Sommarland in Dalarna is a real adventure for families with children during the summer. Inside the gates awaits a wide range of activities and attractions. Some of our most popular attractions are the Wipeout course in Siljan, Lasertag, high ropes courses for big and small, and of course our Waterland with heated pools and winding water slides. Our 250 summer youth welcome up to 6000 guests per day.

Leksand Resort's five-star family camping is nestled among pines in a lush tranquility right next to Lake Siljan, adjacent to Leksand Sommarland. We offer accommodations ranging from tents to luxurious cabins. At Leksand Resort, there are plenty of fun activities for the whole family, restaurants, kiosks, shops, and relaxing moments with attractions nearby. On a night in July, we can host up to 4000 overnight guests during the peak summer season.
