Serving Staff at Åkerblads – Full-time, World-Class Service

Åkerblads is an exclusive hotel welcoming weekend guests, conference guests, and external restaurant guests with high expectations for quality, service, and professionalism. We are now looking for dedicated serving staff for full-time positions.

The Company

Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotel & SPA is a family-owned business that has been in the family since the 1400s.

Today, the 19th-22nd generation of Åkerblad works with a strong team to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.

The hotel is located in the picturesque and renowned TÄLLBERG in Dalarna. For over 100 years, the location has been a destination for celebrities, royalty, and individuals seeking a moment of peace and harmony.

Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotel & SPA consists of 73 unique and personally decorated guest rooms as well as a Gästgiveri that offers locally produced high-quality ingredients for both weekend and conference guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and aims for continuous development where quality is one of the cornerstones.

Our latest addition to the company is the Spa department, where we offer 3 therapy rooms, 1 duo treatment room, hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own hot tub and sauna. The spa department's water experience welcomes guests with a completely new pool area with swimming both indoors and outdoors, year-round. The SPA concept also includes a fully equipped gym, sauna, relaxation areas, product shop, and pool bar.

About the Role

As part of our service team, you will help ensure that every guest receives a professional, warm, and personal experience. You will work with everything from à la carte serving to conference meals and lunch service. The role requires precision, flexibility, and a passion for service.

Responsibilities

· Serving food and beverages in the Gästgiveri

· Participating in preparations for service (setting tables, mise en place)

· Providing professional recommendations for food and beverages

· Ensuring a high level of service and good hospitality

· Collaborating with the kitchen and other hotel staff

· Contributing to order and quality in the dining room

We are looking for someone who

· Has experience in serving, preferably in a hotel or restaurant with high standards

· Is service-oriented, positive, and responsible

· Has good teamwork skills and is flexible

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is stress-resistant

· Speaks Swedish and English

· Has experience in à la carte serving.

The position is available immediately but will be filled according to agreement. For us, it is most important to find the right person, and we are therefore very flexible with the start date.
