Siljansnäs Hotel changed ownership in 2021 and underwent extensive renovations ahead of its reopening in May of the same year. The development of both the property and hotel operations remains a focus, and we work daily to create the best hotel experience for our guests.

Our vision is to be one of Dalarna's most memorable hotel experiences, where food is at the center in symbiosis with the beautiful views the hotel offers. This includes excellent service, fresh and spacious rooms, activities around the hotel stay, and a wide and well-thought-out beverage selection.

We are currently looking for a sous chef for either the summer season or a year-round position.

As a sous chef, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant kitchen during lunch and dinner service. You will also be involved in the menu creation process with testing and evaluation. There are two to three people in the kitchen team depending on the season. An experienced head chef is on site.

We primarily seek someone with previous experience in a similar role but are also open to a chef with several years of experience who is ready to step up into a responsible position.

We highly value qualities such as hardworking, diligent, independent, and attentive. You need to be fluent in Swedish or English, both spoken and written.

You will have shared responsibility for purchasing, inventory, and planning in consultation with our head chef.

We are currently filling two positions. The job starts sometime during the period of March to July and runs full-time until either August/September or indefinitely.
