Kitchen Manager at Erikslund in Borlänge

Erikslund is one of four kitchens serving lunch to the municipality's high school students in Borlänge. In the kitchen, you will work alongside two colleagues. Together, you are responsible for the daily operations and for creating a pleasant and professional meal service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

As a kitchen manager, you and your colleagues are responsible for:

• planning and leading the daily operations in the kitchen
• preparing and serving meals
• ensuring good quality, service, and comfort in the restaurant
• washing dishes and cleaning in kitchen and serving areas
• working with menu planning and special diets
• ordering goods and managing purchases
• being responsible for self-control programs and dietary data systems
• working in operational systems and other digital tools

You participate in the unit's meal council, where our guests are given the opportunity to influence their meals. You are loyal to decisions made and follow the rules and policies that govern the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic requirements for the position:

• Culinary education
• Good computer skills and the ability to work independently in various systems.
• Very good verbal and written skills in Swedish.

Desirable qualifications:

• Good knowledge of special diets and menu planning
• Several years of experience in the profession and a desire to take on greater responsibility
• Driver's license B
