Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and driven Technical Salesperson with expertise in reinforcement and construction technology. The role involves taking overall responsibility for business development within prefabricated reinforcement solutions and acting as a technical sounding board for both customers and production. As a Technical Salesperson for prefabricated reinforcement at BE GROUP, you will have overall responsibility for driving the development of the business, from commercial business development to delivered product. You will act as the hub between the customer's planning and our production. To succeed in this role, a high degree of independence, technical understanding, and solution orientation is required to produce accurate reinforcement specifications.
In this role, you will participate early in customers' planning, providing advice and suggestions for prefabrication solutions that the customer has not identified themselves. You will read and interpret technical drawings and produce reinforcement specifications and quantity calculations for quotes. You will coordinate with clients to ensure that the documentation has been understood correctly and actively collaborate with the production team to plan and prepare for manufacturing.
A key part of the job is to use your technical expertise to create structured and efficient business development, maintain ongoing business, and ensure long-term growth.
We offer a position in a dynamic environment where you have significant autonomy to make necessary decisions within your operations. The role is based in Norrköping and reports to the Head of Reinforcement. You will be the sole person in your role but will collaborate closely with internal colleagues.

Responsibilities
- Business Development: Participate early in customers' planning to provide advice and suggestions for prefabrication solutions that the customer has not identified
- Quote and Specification: Receive and respond to customer inquiries. Based on customer documentation, produce reinforcement specifications and reinforcement quantities for quotes
- Technical Preparation & Coordination: Read and interpret technical documents, drawings, models, and sketches to determine if manufacturing is technically feasible and efficient. Coordinate with clients to ensure that the documentation has been understood correctly regarding dimensions, specifications, drawings, and production adaptations
- Production Planning: Plan and prepare the production of prefabricated reinforcement cages, which includes production planning and work orders
- Quality and Development: Actively collaborate with the production team to solve problems and ensure that the products meet quality requirements. Follow up on production, conduct time studies, and contribute to developing/improving production processes for increased efficiency
Qualifications
- Educated as a Bachelor of Engineering, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through relevant work experience
- Documented experience in reading and understanding technical drawings and models
- Experience in specifying reinforcement
- Documented experience in reinforcement work on construction sites
- Documented experience in creating your own 2D/3D documentation
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driver's license

- Experience working with project management and production in the steel and metal industry
