Group Leader in LSS Operations
We work on behalf of the commissioning unit.
We provide support to individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and intellectual disabilities living in residential facilities with special services in Haninge municipality.
We are looking for a group leader who wants to contribute to a safe and high-quality operation for individuals within LSS. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and distributing the daily work within the staff group and ensuring that services are delivered according to applicable routines and legislation. You will work closely with the operations manager and play a crucial role in following up on incidents, deviations, and quality work according to our management system.
As a group leader, you are a pedagogical role model and work with a professional approach. You participate in planning and following up on routines, action plans, and social documentation, as well as being responsible for the introduction of new employees and substitutes. The role also includes scheduling, personnel planning, and participation in recruitment. You will hold meetings with staff, clients, and relatives and actively contribute to the development of the operation.
Your assignment as a group leader is based on LSS, where the fundamental principles for how services should be provided are self-determination, influence, accessibility, participation, continuity, and a holistic view. The goal is for individuals to receive the support they need to live as independently as possible with a good quality of life.
As a group leader, you have an important task to:
- Lead and distribute the daily work together with the operations manager
- Be a pedagogical role model for the staff group
- Coordinate/follow up on services and maintain structure and routines in the operation
The work involves irregular working hours according to a schedule - weekdays and holidays, morning, day, and evening. We have sleeping on-call duty.
This is what we are looking for in you:
- Several years of experience working with individuals who have been granted services under LSS
- Relevant education for the operational area, e.g., social worker, support pedagogue, social pedagogue, nursing assistant, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Excellent communication skills, both in meetings with people and in writing
- Digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions
- You are a stable person with an empathetic approach
- Experience in scheduling and staffing issues
- Experience in leading others in teamwork
- You are results-oriented and ensure high quality in the delivery of support and services
Meritorious:
- Knowledge and experience in working methods such as; low-arousal approach, clarifying pedagogy, AAC, MI, IBIC, challenging behavior, and equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of working in operational systems such as Lifecare, Proceedo, Medvind
- Driving license B
