Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with an 8-year-old boy residing in Vendelsö

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

• Has experience in similar work

• Has experience with epilepsy

• Is tolerant of pets

• Has experience with PEG

• Is physically fit and can perform lifts and transfers in the job

It is also advantageous if you:

• Have experience working with children

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position comprises approximately 72.5%. The work involves active night shifts and is scheduled for both weekdays and weekends according to a rotating schedule:

Week 1:

• Wednesday 10:00 PM – 7:40 AM

• Thursday 10:00 PM – 7:40 AM

• Saturday 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• Sunday 10:00 PM – 7:40 AM

Week 2:

• Wednesday 10:00 PM – 7:40 AM

• Thursday 10:00 PM – 7:40 AM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
