We are currently looking for someone who wants to work on a fixed schedule and become part of our wonderful team of personal assistants for a man in Södermalm. 

Our client is a man in his 60s living in Södermalm. We are looking for a positive and creative assistant who enjoys coming up with and motivating activities. Our client is wheelchair-bound and needs support with transfers and personal hygiene.

The working hours are scheduled between 8 AM and 9 PM, and the position is approximately 65%.

What does the job of a personal assistant entail? 

As a personal assistant, you work with a person with a disability. You assist with everyday tasks that many take for granted, such as dressing, taking care of the home, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a significant difference and help another person's daily life function.

We have clients of various ages and with different disabilities. Your workplace is wherever the client is, and the job is both varied and eventful. Contributing every day to help a person live their life as they wish is, in our opinion, the most important job in the world. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. Regardless of your age, life situation, and background, you could be the assistant we are looking for.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and communicate in Swedish.
• be flexible and able to fill in on vacant shifts. 
• have experience in care and support. (This is a plus but not a requirement).

Start date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a potential employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
