Description

The Assistance Unit is responsible for investigation, processing, and authority exercise within elderly care and disability services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).

Within the unit, there are five case officers, one fee and transport officer, two system administrators, and one unit manager.

We are now looking for a case officer for a temporary position during 2026 with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities

As a case officer, you will work with processing according to the Social Services Act. This means that you investigate the individual's needs, make decisions, and follow up on already granted services for our users. You will also work with advice, planning, coordination, and follow-up of decisions in close collaboration with other case officers, the unit manager, and other actors both internally and externally.

For us, it is important to take personal responsibility and have good collaboration. You have good opportunities for flexibility in how you organize your work. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, a degree from a social care program, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. You may be studying social work and want to combine your studies with fieldwork.

Experience in elderly care, authority exercise, and the operational system Treserva is an advantage.

A valid driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.

To succeed in your role as a case officer, you have a humble approach in your collaboration with others. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. Building trusting relationships and making others feel secure is natural for you. Additionally, you instill confidence, create trust, and foster collaboration.

You have a good ability to communicate in both spoken and written form.
