About the Job

At the bankruptcy supervision, we oversee that the bankruptcy administration is conducted correctly and in accordance with applicable law. As a lawyer at the bankruptcy supervision, you actively work to ensure that the bankruptcy administration is quick, lawful, and efficient. You work with large parts of central civil law, particularly with qualified insolvency law and labor law. Your workday is varied. You conduct legal investigations, write opinions to the court, and monitor that the bankruptcy administration is carried out appropriately, which may involve visits to bankrupt companies and trustee offices, litigation in court, and more.

You review documents and have extensive contacts with trustees, courts, and external actors. You need to be comfortable speaking in front of groups. We are a small process, which means you are expected to participate in the unit's development work. In the coming year, we are preparing for a new bankruptcy procedure that will come into effect on July 1, 2026. This means that our mission will be broadened, and we will take over several tasks from the country's courts.

Everyone working at the Swedish Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your duties include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes.
