We are now looking for a Process Operator for the section of Lye & Power, which is part of our Pulp Mill. The section's mission is to produce water, energy, and chemicals for the factory's various manufacturing processes, as well as to handle the treatment of the factory's wastewater. Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of production through a screen-based system. If you notice something is wrong in production, you can perform many actions from your screen – but you may also need to go out into production or contact a colleague who is involved in fixing the issue.
• Rounds in production where you, for example, take samples for the lab and check that emergency showers, pumps, or other equipment are functioning.
• Handle acute operational disturbances in production, which can range from fixing a leaking valve to completely restarting production – depending on what has happened.
• As an operator, you are part of our work with continuous improvements, where you are involved in both developing new solutions and implementing improvements.

As production runs 24/7, you will work a 6-shift schedule, which means that morning, afternoon, and night shifts occur on weekdays and weekends. The shift schedule also includes off weeks and development weeks, where you have the opportunity to attend training or cover for any absences.

During your introduction, it may be relevant for you to work continuously on a two-shift basis (morning and afternoon) with your mentor.

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma
• A technical interest
• Good knowledge of Swedish and basic knowledge of English, as it is needed for communication and documentation in the job

It is advantageous if you have completed an industrial technology education at high school or vocational school.

To excel in the role of Process Operator, you need to have a flexible and service-oriented attitude toward your work by being able to handle unforeseen situations and maintain a positive outlook. You need to see the bigger picture and come up with effective and feasible solutions to problems. Since you work closely with others in your shift team, we need you to enjoy working together with others towards common goals.
