We now need to strengthen our team with an additional field mechanic to work in the Gävleborg area!

In the role of field mechanic at Zeppelin, you will work with troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repairs of Caterpillar's machines, including work with engines, gearboxes, and hydraulics. The work is independent, and you will start from your home with your own service vehicle and perform jobs primarily in Gävleborg County. For this role, it is important that you have a strong interest in machines and mechanics. As a person, you are meticulous and see the value of order and tidiness. You have a business sense and are good at following set timelines and routines. As a field mechanic, you are Zeppelin's face to the outside and always want to deliver to the customer with the highest quality!

The position requires you to be self-sufficient in your work and have knowledge of the company's machines. We see that you have a vehicle engineering high school education with a focus on heavy machinery or another technical high school education, or equivalent professional experience.

It is important that you can handle computers as some administration is included in the position, such as reporting completed work. Additionally, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is required for the position; a C driver's license is an advantage.

This position means you will work as a field mechanic in Gävleborg, Hälsingland, and Dalarna. You will be employed by the workshop in Borlänge and report to site manager David Gunnars, but will start from your home and have your own service vehicle to reach customers in the region. Working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. Selection is ongoing, and the start date for the position is by agreement.
