About the Job

The demand for energy from renewable sources is growing rapidly in line with increased climate change. Do you want to contribute to creating green energy for future generations with one of the leading wind turbine manufacturers? Siemens Gamesa has an exciting job for you at the Kölvallen wind farm in Los, where we are now looking for two technicians. Kölvallen is under construction and is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2024.

Job Responsibilities

As a wind turbine technician, you will initially be trained and work at the Skaftåsen wind farm, located south of Sveg, in the municipality of Härjedalen. You will be part of a team that currently consists of four technicians and a Site Lead. The wind farm consists of 35 turbines belonging to the latest SG 5.X platform and has a capacity of up to 6.6 MW. When Kölvallen is completed, you will primarily work there.

Responsibilities include;

• Service and maintenance of wind turbines in accordance with service agreements
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Implementing improvement measures and modifications
• Daily reporting and documentation in the SAP business system
• Coordination and follow-up of work carried out by subcontractors

The wind turbine technician position will involve some travel, especially during the training period in the first year.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role. Technical education in electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical engineering or similar is advantageous. You are comfortable with physical work at heights. Your computer skills are good, and you express yourself fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English. A B driver's license is required.
