Your Future Challenge

We are now looking for a maintenance mechanic for our unit in Strömsbruk (about 25 km north of Hudiksvall). As a mechanic with us, you will work with troubleshooting, improvement work, and preventive maintenance. You will be offered a varied job where you, together with your colleagues, work on mechanical maintenance throughout the facility.

You will become part of a close-knit team and have the opportunity to solve challenges and work to improve the facility.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for seeking information and following applicable instructions, regulations, internal rules, and procedures.
• Works according to Iggesunds Bruk's operational system and business plan as well as the department's budget and goals.
• Engages in continuous improvements, collaboration meetings, workplace meetings, and similar forums.
• Stays informed about events and developments relevant to the work.
• Participates and has an active dialogue with the immediate supervisor about personal and group competencies. Actively contributes to personal and others' skills development.

To Succeed in the Role

We see that you have some form of mechanical education, HIT (Hudiksvalls Industritekniska) is desirable, but other mechanical education may also be interesting for this role. You should also have experience in the process industry regarding, among other things, the work environment, a basic understanding of production, and the challenges within the business.

As a person, you are service-oriented and can build relationships, are accommodating in your approach, and have a desire to help others and find solutions, and work well with others. This also means that it is of utmost importance that you are structured in your work with a clear process where you plan your work well and can meet deadlines.

The employment is a temporary position until September 2025, and the working hours are daytime, with a requirement for a B driver's license.
