The Norrskenet Preschool is the municipality's newest preschool and opened on October 6, 2025. The preschool is built on two floors with three departments, each with two home bases. Here, there are inspiring environments such as squares, movement rooms, dining halls, and studios that give children the opportunity to explore, create, and develop. We are a role model for sustainability and health. With us, children encounter joy, safety, and a desire to learn. Every child should feel included and encouraged to move, build friendships, be creative, and take responsibility for a sustainable future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a childcare worker, you will be part of a team that works together based on applicable governing documents and guidelines for preschools. Together in the team, you will work for the children's development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a childcare education. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and share the preschool's focus. You have good collaboration skills and are independent, initiative-taking, and goal-oriented, with an adaptable approach. A positive attitude is essential. You have an interest in developing new working methods and sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues. You have a professional demeanor towards children, guardians, and colleagues and can easily create good relationships. We place great importance on all educators contributing to children's language development, so good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement in both speech and writing. We also place great importance on personal suitability.
