Documentation Engineer at Etteplan

In the Asset Information Management (AIM) team, we work nationally to structure, secure, and develop technical documentation and information flows in project and management environments.

Your role

In this role, you will:

• Work with reviewing and structuring technical documentation related to facilities and project deliveries.
• Apply standards for reference designations, such as IEC 81346, SSG, DOK80, or KKS.
• Participate in improvement work regarding methods, templates, and systems.
• Support colleagues and client personnel (e.g., project managers, maintenance or operations organization) with the right information at the right time.
• Work in systems such as AutoCAD, Maximo, M-files, IFS, or similar document and facility systems.
• The work is conducted both from the office and in contact with facilities at the client’s site.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a technical education (e.g., bachelor's/master's degree in energy, electrical, mechanical engineering, or equivalent vocational training).
• Has experience working with technical documentation, drawings, facility, or asset information.
• Enjoys working in structured systems and has a good understanding of technical information.
• Is familiar with one or more standards for labeling/reference designations.
• Is meticulous, systematic, and self-driven.
• Has good communication skills and enjoys collaborating with other technical functions.

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Systems such as IFS, AutoCAD, M-files, Maximo, or similar.
• Working with ISO 55000 or ISO 19650.
• Project deliveries in the industrial, energy, or water sectors.
