Automation Engineer at Etteplan

Your Role

As an automation engineer, you will have a varied and developing role where you work on everything from the development of robotic cells and test rigs to the automation of production lines and integration of vision systems and motion systems.

The projects are mainly conducted in-house with our team, and you will collaborate closely with colleagues in electrical and mechanical design. Some parts of the projects take place at the customer's site, where you will have a clear responsibility for the automation part and collaborate in cross-functional constellations. The role is broad, and you will have the opportunity to work with PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, robot integration, and advanced control systems, providing significant opportunities for development.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• A bachelor's degree in automation, mechatronics, or another relevant field
• 2-3 years of experience in PLC programming; Siemens, Beckhoff, and/or Rockwell
• Previous experience programming robots, vision systems, motion systems, and HMI
• The ability to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English
