JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help create the future IT environment?

We are looking for an IT Security Technician with a focus on IT security for our Technical Operations group, a key role where you will work with advanced technology, security solutions, and development in a constantly changing environment.

With us, you will be part of a competent team of 11 people who together ensure that the municipality's IT environment functions stably, securely, and with high quality. Your contribution makes a difference every day.

As an IT Security Technician, you are a central player in our technical operations. You ensure that our technical solutions work optimally and that new solutions are implemented smoothly.

You will:

• Be the link between our operations' property managers and our system suppliers.
• Work closely with technology at an operational level focusing on security and risk management.
• Develop and manage services with high quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure documentation and routines for secure and stable operations.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in the implementation, changes, and decommissioning of systems with security aspects at the center.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions and drive improvement work with a focus on security.
• Implement and maintain integrations between different IT systems securely.
• Stay updated through monitoring of the cybersecurity landscape and new threats.
• Share knowledge and contribute to competence development within IT security in the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in IT security, platforms, systems, and integration who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You have several years of experience in several of the following areas:

• IT systems and application server operations in a Microsoft environment.
• System integration, monitoring, and security solutions.
• Strong technical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• A strong interest in developing within the security field.
• Knowledge and experience with M365 and its security features.

You enjoy monitoring the environment and staying updated on what is happening in the field with new technologies and products. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a desire to develop and learn new things. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in a larger IT organization with a focus on security.
• Familiarity with large-scale IT environments and security requirements in the public sector.
