The IT Office is a service organization within Sandviken Municipality responsible for developing and managing the municipal group's IT platforms for data and telephony, focusing on secure and sustainable solutions for operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an IT Contract Manager who can independently drive and be responsible for the entire process surrounding our IT contracts. The role is central to ensuring that the municipality's IT services and deliveries meet both operational needs and applicable laws and regulations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of IT contracts from needs analysis and procurement to management and follow-up. You will plan, implement, and document contract processes in an independent and structured manner and ensure that the contracts comply with the municipality's guidelines and other relevant regulations.

You will act as a contact person for suppliers and internal stakeholders and conduct risk analyses and cost follow-ups related to IT contracts. The assignment also includes developing and improving routines for contract management. The role has a clear strategic element where you are responsible for the municipality's IT contract portfolio, develop long-term contract strategies, and contribute to efficiency and cost optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a relevant university degree in IT, law, economics, or experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have documented experience working with IT contracts and procurements and good knowledge of LOU (The Public Procurement Act).
  • You have previous experience working independently with responsibility for the entire contract process and the ability to analyze, structure, and communicate information clearly and purposefully.

Personal competencies:

In the role, you work carefully and structured, ensuring quality in contracts, documentation, and follow-up. You take the initiative to drive processes forward and are responsible for completing tasks within given frameworks.

You communicate clearly and pedagogically and can explain complex issues to different target groups. In the face of challenges, you have a solution-oriented approach and act proactively to identify and manage risks. The role requires you to work independently and make your own decisions within your area of responsibility while collaborating well with others and contributing to good cooperation with both internal and external parties.
