We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you are a trained specialist nurse in psychiatry and if you have knowledge of Cosmic. We also consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of other languages besides Swedish and if you have previous experience working in a psychiatric ward.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are a self-driven person who takes responsibility and drives your work forward with structure and clarity. You have good leadership skills and function as a natural coordinator and guide for others. You are decisive and have the ability to make well-founded decisions, even in challenging situations.

What you will work with

With us in the Dependency and General Psychiatry, you will work with meaningful round-the-clock care in a competent team where the patient's needs are always at the center. As a nurse in this rotational position, with working hours scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends, you will be a key person in the team. You have a great responsibility to create security and maintain high quality in care during your shifts. Together with a professional care team – consisting of nurses, caregivers, and doctors – you will meet patients with varying psychiatric diagnoses.

In your role, you are responsible for providing safe and secure nursing care, assessing and following up on patients' well-being, and managing acute psychiatric situations. You administer medications and follow up on treatments while documenting and reporting according to applicable routines. An important part of the work is also to collaborate with colleagues to create a calm, structured, and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position. Working hours: day/evening and weekend shifts. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

Due to the nature of the business and safety requirements, applicants to our operations must be prepared to provide an extract from the criminal record.
