The area of anesthesiology/surgery/intensive care belongs to the Division of Operative and Diagnostics and consists of two units in the region, Sunderby Hospital and Gällivare Hospital. The ICU in Gällivare includes both intensive care and cardiac intensive care as well as post-op. Our four cornerstones are communication, respect, quality, and service.

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialized training in intensive care or equivalent education. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is also a requirement. Experience in intensive care or anesthesia is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are stable, self-reliant, flexible, and have good teamwork skills.

What you will work with

With us at the ICU/HIA/post-op, the work is varied and educational, involving both nursing and medical technology. In intensive care, we work with the acute management of patients with serious illness or injury. We also care for post-operative patients, trauma patients, and patients with failing vital functions. You will collaborate closely with other professionals who together form a team with the patient and their relatives in focus.

Information about the position

Permanent full-time employment with working hours day/evening/weekend/night. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
