We are looking for a Specialist Reviewer for the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consulting assignment, with a scope that varies between 25-50 percent.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The Swedish Transport Administration plans to build a new road, road 259 Tvärförbindelse Södertörn, between E4/E20 at Kungens Kurva via Flemingsberg to road 73 at Jordbro in Haninge. The road will be approximately 20 kilometers long with a total of 8 traffic interchanges and 3 tunnels (approximately 5 km will be in a tunnel). It is planned for 2+2 lanes and a speed limit between 80-100 kilometers per hour. The controlling unit of the Swedish Transport Administration is an organizational unit within Technology and Environment responsible for the Client's dimensioning control regarding load-bearing capacity, stability, and durability according to TSFS 2018:57. The unit decides who within Tvärförbindelse Södertörn is responsible for control. The Specialist Reviewer, in consultation with the responsible control officer, documents comments on the construction documentation within the sub-projects. The project manager(s) within each sub-project are responsible for the primary contact with the Swedish Transport Administration's contracting party regarding construction documentation. The assignment concerns the control of construction documentation for structures for the sub-projects Masmo, Glömsta, and Flemingsberg. The route is divided into several separate contracts for construction documentation, which means that there will be several different contracting parties (consultants) producing construction documents. Delivered documents for construction documentation must be reviewed according to TRVINFRA-00226 Bridge and bridge-like structures, General requirements and TRVINFRA-00227 Bridge and bridge-like structures, Construction. There are different versions of TRVINFRA depending on the contract.Job ResponsibilitiesThis assignment involves: • Specialist review for Control of construction documentation according to the Swedish Transport Administration's regulations (TRVINFRA) regarding the technical area of Structures • The consultant will work with specialist review in the area of structures, providing expert support to the client's responsible control officer in the Tvärförbindelse Södertörn Program. • The consultant will assess whether construction documentation is complete and finalized, i.e., quality assured by contracting parties. • The consultant's comments will be compiled and evaluated by the responsible control officer before being sent for further distribution to the contracting party, which revises any requirements for changes to the construction documentation.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)• At least a Master's degree in engineering with a relevant focus or other education combined with experience that the client deems equivalent. • At least three (3) years of documented professional experience in third-party review of concrete structures. • At least eight (8) years of professional experience as a designer, constructor, and/or specialist reviewer in structures. • Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. • Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written. • Review in 3D models.
