We are looking for a Business Developer for the Traffic Authority in Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The authority's mission is to prepare and implement decisions regarding the direction and scope for sustainable public transport in the long term. They are also responsible for the management and follow-up of traffic operations as well as maintaining the functionality, safety, and value of the infrastructure. Every day, more than 700,000 people travel with public transport, including the subway, buses, commuter trains, and local trains.

The Technical Department's staff is responsible for:

• Contributing to ensuring the internal efficiency, governance, and control of the technical department.
• Contributing to ensuring the systematic and process-oriented quality and sustainability work of the technical department.

The section coordinates and supports the department's quality and sustainability work and is responsible for the overall development and management of processes for maintaining the authority's asset holdings. The section also provides the operation with professional administrative support and assists the department management in internal governance and control.

The section currently consists of 5 employees, a manager, and several consultants who collectively contribute specialist expertise in business development, processes, quality, environment, as well as project management and administration.

The Technical Department needs a resource consultant to cover a vacancy in business development focusing on project and process management.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow up and analyze operations and identify needs for actions and improvements.

• Coordinate and drive development work based on clear and time-limited assignments and participate in cross-functional development projects.

• Follow up and analyze effects made to streamline operations.

• Translate analyses into concrete actions to facilitate the management's success in asset and contract management.

• Plan and lead workshops and training for the department.

• Lead change, implement, and communicate new and improved processes and working methods.

• Provide operational support to the various sections within the department.

• Prepare materials for decision-makers and present to management groups for better decision-making support.

*Support the work with the department's internal governance and control.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Experience in and success with change management and business development in complex organizations, with at least 3 reference cases. At least 3 years of experience and a good understanding of the requirements for the public sector. Education in quality and/or process management, totaling at least 10 training days. At least 3 years of experience in conducting investigations and reviews, with examples to demonstrate this.

Meritorious

Experience in process mapping using 2c8 and/or Visio. At least 2 years of experience in goal management and working with internal control. At least 2 years of experience in contract management and/or asset management according to ISO 55000.
