About the role

In the role of high school teacher, you will play a central role in our students' learning and development. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in Swedish as a second language, Swedish, and social studies. Your work will be characterized by a strive to create a stimulating and safe learning environment where every student can reach their full potential. You will collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching and implement new pedagogical methods that support our students' language development and social insight.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you need to have qualifications and certification in Swedish as a second language and Swedish, preferably also qualifications in social studies. You should be an innovative, forward-thinking, and creative team player who is passionate about developing teaching and contributing to the school's focus on language-developing methods. You have a good understanding of GY25 and see the opportunities it provides in your teaching and collaboration with your colleagues. We value experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and circumstances.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of teaching and student support. You will, among other things:

• Plan and conduct lessons in Swedish as a second language, Swedish, and social studies.
• Develop teaching materials and adapt instruction to meet students' needs.
• Assess students' knowledge and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in collegial discussions and collaborate with other teachers to create a holistic view of students' learning.
• Implement GY25 and contribute to the school's work with language-developing methods.
