About the Role

As a Design Assistant, you will support the design team throughout the entire process – from idea to finished product. You are a key person who ensures that the collections are developed according to the vision, timeline, and brand identity.

You will work on sketching products for Bubbleroom's own collections and ensure that they are commercial and in line with the brand's identity. You will support the Design Manager and Designer in the daily work with product development and collection work, including creating moodboards, color charts, sketches, and material selections. The role also involves responsibility for updating design specifications and boards in case of any changes. You will participate in the development and follow-up of samples together with product developers and conduct continuous research on trends, colors, materials, and competitors to contribute to keeping the collections at a high creative and commercial level.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Creating color charts
• Selecting qualities for products and sourcing new ones as needed together with the team.
• Creating product sketches and conveying the feel to the director and buyers.
• Conducting trend analyses and creating trend materials for the company
• Handovers to the director and participating in fittings
• Participating in the development of products in design collaborations
• Possibly participating in trend trips & supplier trips

About You

You have a post-secondary design education or equivalent, and experience working in the sketch program Illustrator.

You are self-driven, organized, and solution-oriented, and act as an inspirer and culture bearer with a genuine interest in fashion, storytelling, and customer experience. You are driven by a clear passion for your craft and let your engagement show in everything you do. The role requires you to be flexible and have good collaboration skills, while also thriving in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. You are unpretentious, enjoy working in a team, and have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form. Conditions

The position is a full-time temporary position, starting as soon as possible. The temporary position is initially until August 2026.
