About us
At our orthopedic department, you will become part of a safe and engaged team that supports each other and enjoys work. We have a modern department with plenty of space, contributing to a good working environment. There are 16 patient beds, and we care for both acute and elective patients. Our strength lies in the collaboration between nurses, nursing assistants, paramedics, and doctors – together we make a difference for our patients every day. We also have discharge coordinators and receptionists, allowing all professionals to focus on their core tasks. This contributes to a smoother workflow and a better work climate. We offer a safe and individualized onboarding process and value that everyone in the team can grow, take responsibility, and contribute to the development of the department. Here, the work environment and community are just as important as medical quality.
Your tasks
As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to develop specialized skills. You will primarily be responsible for patients with fractures and other injuries to the musculoskeletal system, but there are also patients with surgical and medical diagnoses. You will be involved throughout the process, from acute care to the preparation for surgery and the aftercare when the patient takes their first steps again. Here, you will not only have the opportunity to develop in your profession but also to mentor students and influence the working methods in the department.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants to develop within orthopedic care. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and a willingness to use your skills in a varied job. We believe you are a positive and engaged person who thrives in a team but can also take responsibility. You enjoy working at a varied pace and see the value of creating safety and continuity for patients. Experience in orthopedic care is a bonus – but most importantly, you are curious, eager to learn, and contribute to an environment where both patients and colleagues thrive. We place great importance on personal qualities.
