JOB DESCRIPTION

In Båstad Municipality, there are five nursing homes located in Östra Karup, Båstad, Grevie, and Förslöv. In Förslöv, there is both a nursing home and a short-term care facility. All are situated in scenic areas. Home care is based in Båstad or Förslöv. Our operations are conducted seven days a week, and we are looking for substitutes for day, evening, and night shifts.

In daily work, we provide qualitative care based on individual needs and wishes. We place great emphasis on creating a meaningful everyday life for individuals and providing security at home. You will be part of a team that performs personal care, creates enjoyable meals, encourages social interaction, and adds a special touch to the lives of our elderly.

You will collaborate not only with your colleagues in the care and nursing home/home care but also with other professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Some delegated home care tasks occur in the form of medication management. Daily work includes documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant, but it is not a requirement.

We work both in groups and independently, so it is important that you function well in both contexts and have the ability to take your own initiatives. Our care recipients are always the focus, and therefore, a good attitude and a positive approach are essential.

You need to be flexible with a solution-oriented mindset and able to change perspectives if conditions change. You should be able to handle the Swedish language well both in speech and writing, and have some computer skills. In home care, it is an advantage if you have a driver's license.

Upon employment, you are required to present an extract from a criminal record.
