Your Role

We are now looking for a service-oriented Customer Support Engineer with strong communication skills to support our customers from both a technical and operational perspective, for our global support operations. You will be part of a growing team that ensures high availability for Saab's Special Mission Aircrafts - products that contribute to our vision of creating safety for communities and people.

Your main responsibility is to handle and respond primarily to technical customer inquiries with the support of Saab's collective organization and expertise. The tasks vary in both complexity and scope. We place great emphasis on your individual development plan, which is tailored to your previous experiences and interests.

We work to ensure optimal lifecycle availability for Saab's Special Mission Aircrafts based on the platforms Global 6000, Global 6500, Saab 2000, and Saab 340. In this role, you will develop customer relationships with businesses both in and outside of Sweden, and you will have a central function in the interface between Saab and our customers. Therefore, you need to be prepared to travel to provide on-site support.

The position is located within the In-Service Support section, which is responsible for services and integrated support solutions for cost-effective operation and maintenance of our Special Mission Aircrafts throughout their lifecycle. Our operations aim to establish new and support existing customers' ability to operate and maintain, for example, GlobalEye.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

• Broad and in-depth knowledge and experience of at least one of our platforms - Saab 340, Saab 2000, or Global 6000/6500.
• Technical education, such as aircraft technician.
• Very good ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• EASA Part-66 or RML license.
• Experience from support operations within the aviation industry.
• Experience from Special Mission Aircrafts, both platform and mission parts.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
