Your Responsibilities

Do you want to work on technically advanced projects in gas turbines and contribute to sustainable energy solutions? We are now looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer for the Customer Order Engineering team at Siemens Energy, focusing on acoustic package solutions and control module construction for gas turbines.

About the RoleAs a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will work on project-specific system design for gas turbines in close collaboration with other technical disciplines. The role is varied and combines technical work with commercial contacts as well as support for both project management and the customer. You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle – from design and supplier dialogue to installation and commissioning.

The systems included in your area of responsibility encompass, among others:

• Combustion air intake

• Gas turbine enclosures

• Ventilation systems

• Combustion exhaust systems

• Electrical and control modules

Examples of tasks (but not limited to):

• Develop project-specific system design in collaboration with other disciplines

• Create, review, and ensure technical specifications and solutions

• Maintain close technical and commercial dialogue with suppliers and procurement

• Participate in and conduct design reviews

• Provide technical support to project management in customer dialogues

• Support the workshop during installation and participate in installation and commissioning on-site

Your Profile

We are looking for a structured and solution-oriented engineer with good collaboration skills. You thrive in a project-oriented environment and have the ability to combine technical depth with a holistic perspective. You are communicative and feel comfortable engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement

Desirable Experiences

• Experience in design work using CAD

• Process system design/engineering, for example in COMOS

• Knowledge of KKS and/or ISA standards for process systems

• Experience in lead engineering and/or project management
