The Asset Surveillance department has a national responsibility for Vattenfall Eldistribution's detection capabilities in the area of physical security. This includes the operation and management of all security technology as well as full operational and staffing responsibility for our monitoring centers.

Are you technically sharp, have a strong security mindset, and want to help protect society's most critical assets?

As a monitoring center operator, you will be part of a shift-working team that operates around the clock to monitor and analyze the security situation in real-time for our critical assets. Your tasks include, among other things, camera surveillance, alarm management, and incidents affecting our systems and assets. As an operator, you are an important communication link between various authorities and other functions within Vattenfall Eldistribution. The role of monitoring center operator is suitable for you who want to make a difference and care about security but are also curious to understand how different systems work and constantly want to develop.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has work experience in the field, preferably as an alarm operator or security guard
• Is focused and observant as camera surveillance and alarm management are your primary tasks
• Can perform under pressure and has the ability to make quick decisions in critical situations
• Cares about security and fairness and takes responsibility in the work of protecting our critical assets
• Has good communication and collaboration skills
• Can work with various security systems
• Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
