The world needs to quickly phase out its dependence on fossil fuels in favor of more sustainable alternatives. This is the foundation of Sunpine's business. Sunpine is the world's largest producer of Crude Tall Diesel, a raw material that plays a central role in the transition to renewable fuels. We place high demands on safety, regulatory compliance, and systematic occupational health work – and in that work, you can play an important role.

As an Occupational Health Engineer, you will drive and further develop Sunpine's systematic occupational health and safety work. You will work closely with operations, supporting managers and employees in daily occupational health efforts while ensuring that we meet applicable legal requirements and internal procedures.

A central part of the role is risk management related to chemicals. You will drive the systematic work with chemical management, including risk assessments, inventories, and substitution efforts. You will chair the chemical group and contribute to developing methods and routines in the area.

The role also includes planning and conducting training in occupational health and safety, supporting the organization in handling deviations, and participating in – or driving – projects related to occupational health and safety. Work with fire protection may also be relevant.

We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education degree, or other training deemed equivalent. You have several years of work experience in occupational health and safety, preferably from industrial operations, and are well acquainted with occupational health legislation. You are structured, self-driven, and comfortable expressing yourself in both Swedish and English. Last but not least, we are looking for someone who truly enjoys working closely with people and can create engagement in occupational health and safety issues.

The position is located in Piteå. We also offer the possibility of hybrid work.
