JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in a developing and stimulating job as a family therapist? Do you want to join us in the transformation work based on the new Social Services Act?

As a family therapist, we work on behalf of the Child and Youth Unit with families that have children and teenagers aged 0-18 years. Based on the new Social Services Act that came into force on July 1, 2025, we also work with shorter interventions without needs assessment.

We work closely with both parents and children in the families we meet. The goals and implementation of the interventions are always based on the child's needs and situation. We support parents in strengthening their parenting skills and providing strategies while offering children and youth support, tools, and conversations that promote their development and well-being. The work takes place both in the families' homes and in our own facilities. We actively work with business development and specific methods within the unit, all to meet the families' needs. The work includes collaboration both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, behavioral scientist, or has another equivalent higher education. Knowledge and experience in the following areas are meritorious:

• Child development, interaction, and attachment theory
• MI (Motivational Interviewing, After Child Interview, Safer Children, FFT (Functional Family Therapy), Marte Meo, ABC (All Children in Center) parenting education.

Experience in social work with children and families is also meritorious. The work requires you to be able to work independently and be structured, as well as to work in a team with good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You must hold a B driver's license. We actively work to promote equal treatment and to highlight diversity in the workplace; the unit is LGBTQI certified.
