Engineer with experience in testing and analysis

Are you an engineer with experience in testing and analysis? We are now looking for a new employee to FMV T&E Air in Linköping. In close collaboration with an experienced team, you will have the opportunity to influence both the details and the overall picture in projects that strengthen the Armed Forces' and Sweden's capabilities. Your work is significant at every stage, from needs and ideas to delivery and follow-up.

About the position

As a flight test engineer, you will play a central role in planning, leading, and conducting testing activities for flying systems such as Gripen and helicopters. At the same time, you will contribute to strengthening our capabilities in the verification and validation of advanced flight systems.

Your responsibilities include:

Planning testing activities and developing test programs.
Leading test teams in close collaboration with test pilots, flight technicians, and designers.
Conducting tests, including resource ordering, briefing/debriefing, and data analysis.
Analyzing collected data and compiling test reports.
Supporting project management in concept and requirement work.

The position is located in Linköping. Travel occurs both domestically and internationally.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

A civil/university degree or military engineering degree with relevant technical orientation, or equivalent competence.
Experience in testing hardware, software, or entire systems, as well as working with sensors and/or data analysis.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Class B driver's license.

Meritorious:

Experience in project work.
Programming skills in Matlab, Python, or similar.
Experience in testing activities and leadership.

The goal of our activities is to support the rest of FMV with subject-specific expertise and lead activities in verification and validation.
