Employment Consultant for the Lumena + Project

Do you want to make a difference for people who are outside the labor market? We are looking for an engaged Employment Consultant for the Lumena + project. The position is a permanent employment within the Employment Unit, starting in the Lumena project that will run for three years starting in 2026.

The Employment Unit is part of the Social Administration in Järfälla Municipality and is responsible for initiatives for people who are outside the labor market. The unit works with matching, work trials, and employment for individuals with the aim of empowering people and increasing the chances of entering work or studies that lead to self-sufficiency. The unit also coordinates the municipality's summer jobs for youth.

We are now strengthening the team with an Employment Consultant who will work in the LUMENA+ project, together with another Employment Consultant from the unit, and we are looking for you who want to be part of our important work!

About Lumena+

Lumena+ is a project co-financed by the European Social Fund aimed at helping more people who are far from the labor market to obtain and retain employment or studies, through coordinated support and initiatives that strengthen both the individual, organizations, and the structures that affect establishment. The project owner, Region Stockholm, together with the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and nine municipalities, is joining forces to continue strengthening and developing the ongoing work in the regional Social Fund project Lumena. The overarching project goal is to build long-term sustainable structures for collaboration, offer individualized support, and with a particular focus on employer collaboration. The project focuses on evidence-based methods such as Supported Employment, Case Management, Supported Education, and Matching Day 1, and draws inspiration from the BIP study. The project has a particular focus on the horizontal principles of accessibility, gender equality, equity, and non-discrimination.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work individually tailored with the methods of Supported Employment, Case Management, Supported Education, and Matching Day 1, as well as drawing inspiration from the BIP study, to support individuals towards work, internships, or studies.

• Match participants to internships, work training, or employment
• Support both the individual and the employer throughout the process
• Collaborate with employers and professional networks
• Be responsible for approximately 20 participants

You will be part of a team consisting of project leaders and colleagues from various municipalities and authorities who collectively develop the work throughout the project. Competence and method development will occur continuously. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the Employment Unit, the team, participants, and employers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• You have a relevant university degree for the position, such as a social worker or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer
• You have experience working with labor market issues/work-oriented rehabilitation/social services
• Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of the methods SE/CM
• Experience and knowledge of working with target groups with neuropsychiatric disabilities, mental health issues, or disabilities
• Experience in acquiring workplaces or other types of marketing/sales
• Knowledge of MI
• Experience in public service

As the work involves documentation responsibilities, it requires good computer skills and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
