Our Offer

The Endocrinology Clinic is part of the Medicine Center and provides specialized healthcare in the field of hormonal diseases. The clinic has a regional responsibility for patients needing specialized endocrinological investigation and treatment. The clinic conducts investigations, treatments, and follow-ups of patients with endocrine and metabolic diseases, as well as research and education. We also provide National Highly Specialized Care for the diagnosis of gender dysphoria. The operations consist of both inpatient and outpatient care. Within inpatient care, we also have a shared responsibility for internal medicine patients. At our clinic, we work a lot in teams for the best interest of our patients, we have a planned work schedule with relatively little on-call duty. We are located in modern and bright facilities and take pride in our strong team spirit and good working environment.

Job Description

We are looking for someone interested in working in multiprofessional teams both internally within the clinic and together with other specialties within the framework of endocrinology rounds, pituitary rounds, foot ulcer rounds, and specialist maternity care. The work includes standard ward and outpatient clinic duties as well as participation in the clinic's educational assignments. Opportunities for professional development are available. About You

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in endocrinology and diabetology who wants to help develop the Endocrinology Clinic to meet the future needs of healthcare. In addition to clinical work, research, development work, and teaching constitute a certain part of the operations, and documented skills/interests in these areas are therefore an asset. You have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards process development and an interest in modernizing healthcare.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing corresponding to Swedish C1 level as you need to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, you are a good listener and clear in your communication. You collaborate well and are eager to share knowledge and experiences with others in the workgroup, regardless of profession. You have a positive mindset and see opportunities in changes. You have an interest in education and research and are a knowledge resource for others.
