Our Offer

The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, the Finspång Health Center, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and on weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

At the health center in Kisa, there are nearly 9,000 registered patients. The health center has the advantage of being just over 45 minutes from the nearest hospital, which presents special challenges but also opportunities as the health center plays a prominent role in the community. Currently, we are a group of just over 50 permanent employees. We aim to provide good and close care with high quality, accessibility, and continuity for our citizens, as well as enabling our patients to receive safe and accessible care at home when needed, even in cases of advanced illness.

Kinda is a picturesque rural municipality with good communication to Linköping. We offer primary care with great breadth and flexible solutions in effective collaboration with the municipal home care services. In the countryside, the health center plays a prominent role and handles a wide variety of medical issues.

Job Description

We are looking for you, a district nurse or nurse who also has the competence and interest to be part of the assignment, including working with our incontinence clinic. We offer you a stimulating job where you are part of a team but also have your own patient visits and telephone counseling. As a new district nurse/nurse with us, you will receive an introduction tailored to your needs. We view continued professional development positively if you wish to develop within any of the different areas of work we have at the health center.

Work Group

At the health center, there are medical consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nurse consultations, child health care, psychosocial competence, foot care, and laboratory services. We are also responsible for several elderly care homes.

About You

We are looking for you who are a district nurse/nurse with an interest in primary care.

You have a positive attitude towards your work and act in accordance with decisions made, policies, and guidelines. As a person, you are confident in yourself and have good collaboration skills. It is also important that you are curious to learn new things and see constructive feedback as a natural part of your daily work and in your and others' development. You can plan, organize, and prioritize your work.

You communicate clearly, take responsibility for your tasks, and can make independent decisions based on your profession. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
