Orthopedic Clinic in Norrköping

The Orthopedic Clinic in Norrköping is part of the Center for Surgery, Orthopedics, and Cancer Care (CKOC) in Region Östergötland.

The clinic has approximately 130 employees in various professional fields.

The operations consist of orthopedic basic care both acute and elective. In addition to surgeries for acute fracture surgery, we also have an elective operation that largely involves prosthetic surgery for hips and knees, as well as shoulder, hand, and foot surgery. A large portion consists of day surgery operations. We also have an inpatient department with 28 care places.

The rehabilitation unit at Vrinnevisjukhuset works within inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care. The unit consists of 14 employees, including 7 occupational therapists, 6 physiotherapists, and 1 swimming instructor.

Job Description

With us, you will work primarily with the ward and with outpatient patients. The tasks on the ward include functional assessments, ergonomic advice, rehabilitation, and mobilization of hospitalized patients. You are an important link in dialog with the ward to ensure discharge for patients. Many assessments concern functional ability and assistive device needs. In outpatient care, we treat patients with various orthopedic conditions and postoperatively after planned surgery.

Education and Experience

Licensed physiotherapist or licensed physical therapist.

As a person, you are confident in your profession. You are stimulated by and have the ability to work with several different professions and orthopedic diagnoses. You can prioritize and adapt as needed when required in the operations. You are perceived as clear and smooth in communication both verbally and in writing. We would like you to have experience from similar operations. Great importance will be placed on being the right person in the group and bringing joy to work.
